Wholesale mitts, loofah and hammam towels
This group does not brush, it scrubs. Loofah, silk floss, woven mitts and pestemal towels: products out of hammam culture and their modern equivalents. We supply at every stage, from raw fibre to a finished mitt.
These products are not on our firmness scale
Our firmness scale exists to compare bristles, and a mitt does not belong on it. The reason is simple: a mitt does not brush, it scrubs. Bristle meets the skin vertically; a mitt works by horizontal friction. Measuring both on one scale would be wrong.
The distinction helps in selling, too. When a customer asks which is firmer, explaining that the two do different jobs is a better answer than comparing them.
Loofah: raw, sliced and baled
Loofah is the dried inner tissue of a gourd. It softens when wet and hardens as it dries, which is why it is used both for scrubbing and for cleaning. There is a texture difference between local and imported fibre and we supply both.
We offer it in three forms: raw fibre for you to work yourself, slices for soap bases and mitt inserts, and bales for volume buying. Customers with their own workshop take the raw fibre and build their own product.
Mitt types and where they are used
The kelebek mitt slips over the hand, with elastic or a tie; it is the best seller. The tellak mitt is the traditional hammam mitt, woven firmer. The silk floss mitt has a glossy face and is softer, and it presents well at retail.
A pestemal is not a mitt but sells in the same basket: the classic of hammams and hotel bathrooms, in woven cotton. In hotel amenity sets it goes out alongside the mitt.

Why is the mitt missing from the firmness scale?
Because a mitt does not brush, it scrubs. Bristle meets the skin vertically, a mitt works by horizontal friction. Comparing them on one scale would be misleading.
Can we buy raw loofah and work it ourselves?
Yes, we supply raw fibre and bales. Customers with their own workshop buy it this way and build their own product.
What is the difference between local and imported loofah?
Texture. Imported fibre is generally looser woven, local is tighter. We supply both and you can compare them in the sample.
Can mitts and towels be bought together for a hotel?
Yes, that is the most requested combination in amenity sets. We package them under the hotel's own name.
