Why this brush is the one used for dry brushing
Dry brushing means working the skin with a brush while it is dry. For it to do anything the bristle has to be lively: it must push back when pressed rather than lying flat. Horse tail gives exactly that.
Soft bristle does not do the job and very firm bristle scratches. Horsehair sits between the two, which is why it has become the standard of the category.
Four models, two variables
Colour: white and grizzled. White horse mane is scarcer in nature so it costs more; grizzled, our word for mixed tone bristle, gives a natural look and sells well at retail. Colour changes the look, not the firmness.
Size: full and mini. Full size for the body, mini for travel and gift sets. If you are building a set we suggest carrying both.
The banded oval body
The body is boxwood, hornbeam or beech. The band across it takes the hand; it holds the brush in the palm and stops it slipping with wet hands. Band colour and material can be changed to match a brand colour.
Your logo is laser burned into the wood. The top face of an oval body is flat, so the marking comes out clean.

Common questions
White or grizzled?
The firmness is the same, only the look differs. Against pale packaging grizzled gives contrast; for a clean brand look white sits better. White costs more.
What is the mini for?
Travel and gift sets. Paired with the full size in a set, both sell.
Can the band colour change?
Yes, band colour and material can be matched to your brand.
Does it shed on first use?
A few strands is normal in natural bristle and stops quickly. Shedding in clumps is a production fault and is covered by the warranty.
