Wholesale bamboo combs
The more economical and more sustainable alternative to boxwood. Four models: square, narrow, wide and oval bodies.
Why buyers choose bamboo
Bamboo is technically a grass, not a tree. Because it renews quickly, brands with a sustainability story prefer it — it gives them something true to put on the packaging.
It costs less than boxwood. If perceived quality and durability come first, boxwood; if sustainability and price come first, bamboo — the boxwood comb page makes the same comparison from the other side.
What the four models are for
Wide is for thick and curly hair; the open spacing works through tangles without pulling. Narrow is for fine hair and styling.
Square and oval bodies share the same tooth pattern; the difference is grip and look. Carrying both widens the shelf in a retail range.
How a wooden comb differs from plastic
A wooden comb does not charge the hair. That is the clearest difference from plastic: no static builds up while combing fine or flyaway hair.
The finish on the tooth tips matters. A tooth left sharp scratches the scalp; ours are rounded and sanded.

Common questions
Bamboo or boxwood?
Boxwood if perceived quality and durability lead. Bamboo if the sustainability story and cost lead. We send both as samples.
Do bamboo combs break?
They flex more than boxwood, but with adequate tooth thickness they hold up in normal use. We do not recommend very fine-toothed models in bamboo.
Can a logo be applied?
Yes, laser engraved. The flat, wide face of a comb is the easiest surface for a logo, with room for a strapline or model name beside it.
Are all models in stock?
Some models enter production in turn. When we quote we state in writing when each model will be ready.
